Skincare Empties

Swisspers Rosehip Rejuvenating Facial Cleansing Wipes 25pack
RRP: $6.69 from Priceline
Repurchase? Yes (already stocked up!)
I cannot rave about these make-up wipes enough! They remove 95% of my make-up (with the exception of Benefit's unshakable They're Real mascara). These wipes are soothing and soft that I don't have to rub my face and am left with that clean feeling without a greasy film or tightness. They are a great price and easily accessible. These makeup wipes just do it for me! I even use them at the end of a make-up free day just to feel refreshed until I wash my face before bed.

Formula 10.06 Keep Me Clean Clarifying Wipes with Cucumber and Witch Hazel 25 pack
RRP: $6.99 from Priceline
Repurchase?
No
These wipes were so so, they didn't make any difference to my congested skin or large pores, which is why I wanted to try them. They did a decent job of removing my make-up but I was left with a little tightness and still had to wash my face after to remove all my make-up.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution 100ml
RRP:
$20.99 from Priceline
Repurchase?
Yes
This cult Micellar water does a great job of removing even the toughest makeup and this bottle is great for travelling, the lid also stays on really well. I would wait for this to go on sale as I don't see a huge difference between this and more affordable brands though.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash 177ml
RRP:
$13.99 from Priceline
Repurchase?
No
This was a sample but I didn't feel this was enough for my congestion. I don't have a huge amount of acne but I always get a little build up now and then around my chin and on my forehead. I almost feel as if this didn't clean my skin at all.

Ella Bache Detox Aromatique Extra Matifying Cream 50ml
RRP:
$72.00 from Ella Bache
Repurchase?
Yes
I enjoyed using this moisturiser, although it didn't keep me completely matte.  I'm yet to find a moisturiser that can combat my oily t-zone. There is a really nice scent that reminds me of a spa but isn't overwhelming and this kept me moisturised without feeling too oily. It is a little pricey but I did enjoy this.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque 75ml
RRP:
$70.00 from Dermalogica
Repurchase?
No
I bought this because I read that Victoria Beckham swore by this and I can see why an older woman with super dry skin would love this. However, I found this too heavy for my skin and although it's supposed to soothe skin I didn't find it soothing. I'm a fan of Dermalogica products but this just wasn't right for my combo skin... Serves me right for being so influenced by Posh Spice.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Mask 5 pack
RRP:
$19.99 from Priceline
Repurchase?
Yes
I use these when I've had too much sun or experimented with skincare gone wrong and I'm left a little raw and worse for wear. The mask is generous is size and drenched in serum, has a soothing effect, and keeps my skin hydrated without that oily feeling.  At around $4 a mask they are great value for the results (I actually prefer these to SKII essence masks but shhh!)

DrJart+ Clearing Solution Sheet Mask Single
RRP:
$30.00 for a pack of 5 from Amazon
Repurchase?
Yes
I bought this as a single sheet from Sephora in store and I LOVED IT!!! You can buy these in store in a multi pack or single but not online from SephoraAus at the moment. I used this after a full week of sunscreen, oil and that time of the month. In short, my skin was a mess and I could feel all these blind pimples dying to pop out, my pores were the size of small planets and I was just over it! This mask was amazing! I felt matte and clean after and I did see a difference. The majority of my pimples were long gone and my pores seemed smaller. I really felt that my skin got a good clean up from this mask without any irritation. I'm sure these masks could mop up oil spills in the ocean! I will be stocking up on these for the times when I'm a total grease ball.

Korea Mediheal White Hydrating Charcoal-Mineral Mask
RRP:
$30.00 for 10 from Amazon
Repurchase?
No
You can find these from Asian beauty stores and even variety stores for a really affordable price. I didn't feel this did anything spectacular for my skin. Whitening masks are not meant to lighten your skin (despite the name) they are actually supposed to balance your skin tone and even things out. This mask didn't do it for me.  It wasn't a bad mask... I've just had better!

  1. I'm already addicted to this series, there's something so weirdly satisfying about reading about other people using shit up #creepalert
